Sharing our quick unboxing of the Hape Mr. Tambourine from our YouTube channel with a bit of a back story below:
Since starting on the Montessori method, I’ve taken to observing our toddler as he goes about his day. This is one of the things you can do to really gauge his needs and to “follow the child.” By strictly observing in a purely descriptive and objective manner instead of a subjective one, you will be able to notice more of your baby’s development in terms of his interests and his progress. I know I’ve certainly learned more about Magnus since I started to observe him.
One thing I’ve been noticing lately is that he seems to appreciate making sounds from what he’s holding. Like if he’s holding two blocks, he’ll start tapping them together. He also does this on the table and he likes it if there’s something rattling from inside a container of sorts. And so with these cues, and also since we didn’t really have a rattle for him, I decided to get him his first musical toy – the Hape Mr. Tambourine.
